The Australian College of Midwives NSW Branch is 'womaned' by several part time staff.
Alexandra Weston has had over 20 years experience as a midwife, working in both rural and metropolitan NSW. She has completed her Masters of Adult Education which is an area of interest and relevance in Midwifery and the congoing education of midwives. She is our is Office Manager and is responsible for the communication between the executive committee and the office. She works in conjunction with the Administrative Assistant in organising and coordinating the many ongoing projects and committments of the Australian College of Midwives NSW Branch, such as our professional development workshops and updating our publications and improving professional relationships with other professional and public organsiations. She regularly gives support for consumers of midwifery care and members of our College. She also continues to work as a clinical midwife on a casual basis. She also regularly contributes to an 'expert' advice forum for consumers.
Robyn Georgopoulos is our Administrative Assistant. Robyn handles our telphone enquiries that we receive through the office and will accept membership enquiries and queries. Our administration assistant ensures all our duties are handled in an efficient timely manner and with utmost confidence. She maintains our extensive membership database and everyday functioning of the office.
