The Australian College of Midwives NSW Branch is 'womaned' by several part time staff.
Alexandra Weston has had over 20 years experience as a midwife, working in both rural and metropolitan NSW. She has completed her Masters of Adult Education which is an area of interest and relevance in Midwifery and the ongoing education of midwives. She is our is Office Manager and is responsible for the communication between the executive committee and the office. Alex works in conjunction with the Administrative Assistant in organising and coordinating the many ongoing projects and committments of the Australian College of Midwives NSW Branch, such as our professional development workshops and updating our publications and improving professional relationships with other professional and public organsiations. She regularly gives support for consumers of midwifery care and members of our College. She also continues to work as a clinical midwife on a casual basis. She also regularly contributes to an 'expert' advice forum for consumers.
Teri Edwards is our Administrative Assistant. Teri commenced working with us in late Februalry 2010. Teri comes with extensive experience working in a range of roles from community, higher education and government sectors. Teri handles the majority of our telphone and email enquiries that we receive through the office. She is also working on our extensive membership database.
